How about change the game name to "Find F button"?

You're on to something there... maybe "Quest for the "F" button" :D

No funciona. Le doy a la F y no pasa nada

Amazing stuff. Insane what can be done in 2 days. Really good art and nice music!

Congrats on the amazing feat.

Some minor feedback:

Jumping was a bit jank at some places (spikes), I would wish for coyote time.

The topmost middle coin was really weird to get an the left corner would lock up the character unable to jump unless you wiggled a bit

Thank you for playing really happy you liked it :D Yeah I almost bricked the game with that coin jump on the left side. I uploaded an untested build after I changed the animation for the little SparkNoid which changed his hit box a little.  It just made it hard for him to fit.. another small bit lower on that and I would have broke it completely :P

Absolutely delightful game, I love the perspective shifts. Well done!

😄 Thank you for playing and your kind words!!

Really god game! Great job!

:D thank you for playing!! Good job on beating it :D

I have nothing to say, completely blow out of the water.

Unfortunately, i am stuck at the second door (the door after the tutorial one) and can not give a more detailed comment

:) Look on the left wall, there is a little SparkyNoid there just sorta frame him to the left of the screen like he's going to run across the top wire :)

I can't seem to enter the 4th puzzle after the coins.

:D So  find the Noid, then turnaround and  compare the walls :) That one is a tad different, but really easy.

My brain is a tad fried for the night, but I have to finished the blue door!

And i did!

I think everyone on the comments have said all that need to be said.

Your game has a really high hurdle of entry but has a very sastisfying payoff in the end. Love it.

Also! For the 2d platformer, check out gmtk guide to platformer on itch

Overall,  I think you will take 1st place this year! 10/10! Love it!

P/S: My brain too fried to give a good comment, but my pride dictate I must leave one regardless!

Hahaha yeah, I can understand the brain frying :P Thank you for playing and sticking with it!! Really happy you liked it, just seeing people having fun is what I'm after mostly, it's fun to read all the comments :)

Thank you again for playing and your kind words :)

Very awesome concept. I loved this, and even though some of the triggers were frustrating, the payoff was great. I especially loved the puzzle to open the blue door. I'd love to see this expanded on.

:D Thank you! Happy to see people getting through the puzzles and even the blue door, really cool :D

Yeah I've been thinking how I would expand it in construct 3, it's honestly somewhat of a mess on the backend :P I might see if there is a cleaner way to do the transitions and the triggers.

Thank you for playing! :)

I thought it would be at the end, but of course it was at the beginning

Exceptionally well done, this is probably my favorite from the jam submissions.

I absolutely suck when it comes to puzzle games. After beating the game three times, I still couldn’t get through the blue door even though I had the thing for it so take that as you will, could’ve totally been my fault for all I know. :D

The atmosphere of the game is fantastic, I really enjoyed how the music changes according to the game phase. Everything blends in pretty much perfectly. I especially love the huge texts in the sky at the start and end, really gives the feeling that the world is something larger than me.

The only downsides were the jankiness of the platforming, which I know you’re aware of. Secondly, it feld a little awkward how close you had to stand to every puzzle activation.

All in all I would really love to see this get a full version. More trippy puzzles and even trippier solutions!

Thank you so much for the message and the kind comments :D I'm happy you liked the game!! SOOOO Much could be done to make the platforming better I think if I ever made it a full game I could improve on this a lot since Construct is mostly a 2D engine.

I just uploaded a trailer also... that is kinda hilarious, it does include a hint to the blue door ;)

Thank you so much for playing!!

Man I love these kinds of games with 2D graphics in a 3D space. And you even added another super fun mechanic on top. Well done! Truly! Excellent jam entry.

Thank you so much for playing! Yeah I had no idea if I could pull off the effect or not, but was really cool to work on. I glad you liked it, thank you for playing :)

Really nice gameplay, though I cant get the 4th frame to trigger. And I freakin love the music! You did it yourself? Really cool and atmospheric!

Thank you for playing! I did everything BUT the music. That was done by JetDarc, dude is a musical genius.  I use his music for the last Kenney Jam :)

So most frames... center and walk back. There are two I can't hint though :)

Just wow!

Thank you so much for playing :) I'm glad you liked it!

Noo you didn't!! I  was surprised and really liked the mechanic. I had so much fun while playing and I think you should make the full game. Would love to play it

can someone explain how i go to the 2d thing on the wall im kinda stuck on the first room

So there is a sweet spot, you have to find and then you click the "F" button just sorta frame it so the square is in the middle. Easiest way is to put the puzzle in the middle of your screen, and walk backwards and you'll see the "F" prompt.

Most of the game is finding that sweet spot to then hit the "F" button :)

I'm working on the instructions now :P been a long past couple of days.

thanks!

Such a cool, fun, trippy game! I would love to see it expanded into a full release, the concept just has so much potential.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it :) Yeah once the jam is over I'm going to work on it more... I had some many ideas while I was work on it, was fun to make.
